Adaptive Water Urbanism Tour

Join us for a tour of the Green Benefit District and its adjacent areas. You will be accompanied by Julie Christensen and Kat Sawyer from the Green Benefit District, Greg Braswell from the San Francisco Department of Public Works, Professor Hope Hui Rising, and seven students from the Washington State University. We will look for potential intervention sites for implementing adaptive water urbanism strategies and discuss the potential of these sites’ natural and man-made water systems in adapting the Green Benefit District to the impacts of sea level rise, drought, and flooding.
